Subscription services
OrderLocks is provided as a subscription-based software-as-a-service platform for documenting manufacturing approvals and supplier production records. Access to paid features requires an active subscription on a plan you have selected. Free trials and starter tiers, when offered, are subject to the limits described on our pricing page.
User responsibilities
You agree to use OrderLocks in good faith, to provide accurate information, and to ensure that every user you invite is authorized to act on behalf of your organization. Buyers are responsible for the orders they create. Suppliers are responsible for the files, approvals, and updates they submit. Each party is responsible for the accuracy and authenticity of the information they contribute to an OrderLock.
Acceptable use
OrderLocks is intended for documenting legitimate commercial production relationships. You agree not to use the service to upload unlawful content, infringe third-party rights, transmit malware, attempt to disrupt the service, or misrepresent your identity or authority to act on behalf of an organization.
Account security
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Account administrators are responsible for the users they invite, the scope of access granted, and for promptly removing users who no longer require access.
You must notify us at support@orderlocks.com of any suspected unauthorized access to your account.
Buyer and supplier workflow
OrderLocks is a neutral system of record. Buyers create OrderLocks and invite suppliers to confirm production terms. Suppliers review, approve, and submit updates or change requests against those terms. Each party is responsible for the accuracy of the information they submit.
OrderLocks does not negotiate, guarantee, finance, or take legal title to any goods or services described in an OrderLock. The commercial agreement remains between buyer and supplier.
Evidence records
OrderLock entries are recorded as an immutable timeline of approvals, file versions, change requests, and confirmations, together with timestamps and the actor responsible for each event. Both buyer and supplier may rely on this record as evidence of what was agreed and when.
You agree not to misuse the evidence package — for example, by submitting falsified files or impersonating another party — and acknowledge that OrderLocks may suspend access where such misuse is detected.
Service availability
We work to keep OrderLocks available and reliable, and target high uptime through redundant infrastructure and managed providers. The service is nevertheless provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, and we do not guarantee uninterrupted operation. Planned maintenance windows are announced in advance where practical.
Billing and renewals
Paid plans are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis, depending on the plan selected, and renew automatically at the end of each billing period using the payment method on file. Fees are quoted exclusive of applicable taxes, which are added where required. Payments are processed by our payment provider; OrderLocks does not store full card details.
We may change pricing or plan terms with reasonable advance notice. If a change materially affects your subscription, we will communicate it before it takes effect.
Cancellation policy
You may cancel a subscription at any time from your account settings or by writing to support@orderlocks.com. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; you retain access until that date. Fees already paid are non-refundable except where required by law.
Intellectual property
OrderLocks, including the platform, branding, designs, code, and documentation, is owned by OrderLocks and protected by intellectual property laws. You retain ownership of the content you upload to your OrderLocks account, and grant OrderLocks a limited license to host, process, transmit, and display that content as needed to operate the service for you and the parties you invite.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, OrderLocks disclaims implied warranties and is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from use of the service, including lost profits, lost data, or business interruption.
Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the fees you have paid to OrderLocks in the twelve months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
Dispute resolution
Before initiating any formal proceeding, you agree to first contact us at support@orderlocks.com so we can attempt to resolve the matter in good faith. Any dispute that cannot be resolved informally will be handled under the laws of the jurisdiction in which OrderLocks operates, in the competent courts of that jurisdiction, except where applicable consumer law provides otherwise.
Termination
We may suspend or terminate access for material breach of these terms, non-payment, or activity that endangers the integrity of the service or other customers. You may close your account at any time; production records remain subject to the retention practices described in our Privacy Policy.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "last updated" date and, for material changes, notify account administrators before the changes take effect.
